Well done all of you. The athletics was great, the house relays were really good you can definitely tell that the teams have been training, Well done Mercy people in the middle relay you did super well, Great work Catherine you did relly well in the senior relay. Great work to all of you who have gotten into South Canterbury, you must be looking forward to it.

The boy named Shane and the cat with no name walk along the stone path, around a corner and along the sandy boardwalk. “Look were home, Mittens.” The cat with no name jumps out of the boy named Shane’s jacket and onto the sandy path. “What do you think, Blackeyes?” Shane picks up the little cat and puts him back into his warm cosy jacket. “We live at the back of the shop, here on the beach.” The boy named Shane walks inside, his father stands pacing in the kitchen waiting for him. “Were have you been Shane, you said you would be home by 6:30 and right now it is 7:00.”

“I found a cat and I am going to look after it, is that ok?” The cat jumps once again out of the boy named Shane’s jacket and looks around.

 Shane’s father looks at him, “Okay that’s fine”.  The boy named Shane went to show the cat with no name the rest of the house. “Tabbycat, this is my room, and that’s my dad’s room down the hall, you don’t go in there because he’ll freak. You can sleep in the lounge, by the fire. Do you want me to go and get you some milk for you Skinnyminny?”  The boy named Shane laughs.

 Then the boy named Shane started calling the cat Tabby. He slurps his milk and wonders over to his warm basket and sleeps a happy night.

what a  shame that athletics was postponed till tomorrow, I was up and all set for it, I am dressed, lunch packed and every thing. So come to school in your uniform. But the athletics is tomorrow so be ready.
